Everyone say hello to Leah! Leah is our new intern/volunteer. She's working toward her history degree and has a special interest in World War II and the Cold War. She's working on compiling a Berkeley County World War II database like the one we have for World War I. When this collaborative project is complete, it will be added to the Museum website and available 24/7. See our WWI database here. Do you have a Berkeley County relative or family friend who served in the armed forces during WWII? Email collections@berkeleymuseum.org to share their story!

Leah is also learning about what it’s like to work in a small museum. From her work on the database, to gift shop inventory, to sweeping the floor, Leah is truly getting an immersive museum experience! We greatly appreciate her hard work and are excited to spend the semester with her.
