Donate to the Berkeley County Museum
If you are interested in the work of the Museum, its programs, exhibits, and the preservation of this region’s history and wish to support it financially, we appreciate donations at any level. For more than 30 years, the generosity of people like you has helped the Berkeley County Museum build a tradition of education and information.
Our operation as a Museum depends on the generosity of the community, both locally and regionally, in the form of memberships, volunteerism, gifts, and cash donations. The Berkeley County Museum is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, so your donations are tax-deductible. If you would like your donation to be marked in honor of or in memory of a loved one, please let us know.
We gratefully accept donations of gift cards (Walmart, Marvin’s hardware, etc.) and cash. To donate money digitally, please click this link or the Paypal Donate button below.
Your contributions support:
• General operations (keeping the doors open and the lights on!)
• Collections care
• New and updated exhibits, including temporary or traveling exhibits
• Continued research into our artifacts and the history of our amazing county
In-kind gifts are also appreciated!
Much of the office furniture and equipment we use has been donated to us. We generally accept donations of anything you think a small business could use – printers, computers, chairs, tables, ink, packing tape, etc. Please call before dropping off/donating any items. A tax receipt for your in-kind donation is available upon request.
