The Berkeley County Museum is located in historic Moncks Corner, South Carolina. The museum is self-guided; please contact us for guided tour rates.

Hours of Operation:
Monday-Saturday: 9 am - 4 pm
Sunday: 1 pm - 4 pm
The museum is closed major holidays. If Old Santee Canal Park is closed, so is the museum.

Admission Prices:
The Berkeley County Museum is free of charge. However, the Old Santee Canal Park charges a nominal gate fee. Please visit the Park’s website for up-to-date rates. A $5 donation is suggested for the Museum.

Accessibility:
There are ramps at the entrance of the museum building. The museum has no interior stairs and has seating available. Wheelchairs are permitted throughout the museum. Service dogs, when identified, are permitted; other animals are not permitted. Visitors in need of a quiet area at any point during their visit should contact staff.

Cell Phone Usage:
Please be courteous of other visitors when using cell phones in the Museum. Silent use, such as text messaging, is permitted. If you have to make or take a call, please do so on our porch.

Food and Drink:
Covered drinks (water bottles, etc.) are allowed in the Museum.

Photography:
Bring a camera! Cameras must be handheld; no tripods are allowed. Flash photography is also prohibited.
